A Kingdom Teaching – Spirit-Filled, Prophetic, and Rooted in Truth
In this 12 Day Journey, we are unlocking the Identity of Jesus Christ—not just the name we speak, but the eternal Person behind the name. Many debate whether His name should be Jesus (English) or Yeshua (Hebrew). But today, we honor the truth that the same Savior answers to both.
Because the name J-E-S-U-S, the name that delivered our grandmothers, our grandfathers, our mothers, and our fathers—the name spoken in small churches, old wooden pews, dirt floors, and prayer rooms—that name carried the same power that saved the saints of old.
They did not have Hebrew classes.
They did not have seminary degrees.
They did not have perfect pronunciation.
Some had little education, some could barely read—but they had revelation.
They worshiped God in spirit and in truth, and Heaven recognized their cry.
Because God has always looked at the heart, not the accent.
And here is the revelation you gave—now written as a spoken-word moment inside your introduction:
There is much teaching today about the Hebrew name Yeshua and the English name Jesus. But during this Journey, we will show that the power is not in the language — the power is in the Person.
Whether you call Him:
Jesus (English)
Yeshua (Hebrew)
Iesous (Greek)
…His identity, His authority, and His saving power do not change.
It was the name Jesus that your great-grandmother prayed in.
It was the name Jesus that your grandfather called on at the altar.
It was the name Jesus that delivered your mother, kept your father, and saved generations that had little education, no theology degrees, and no access to seminary…
Yet God recognized their worship because they worshiped in spirit and in truth.
Many of them couldn’t pronounce Hebrew.
Many of them couldn’t read Greek.
But they knew the Man.
They knew the Savior.
They knew the Jesus who healed their bodies, broke their chains, and filled them with the Holy Ghost.
“They say His name wasn’t Jesus,
it was Yeshua —
but you know what makes my
God so immaculate?
He knew the tongue I’d speak,
the language my grandmother, grandfather would pray in,
the name my father, mother cried when trouble hit the house.
He knew the sound my culture would form long before I ever formed in my mother’s womb.
He knew that when I said ‘Jesus,’ my spirit was calling on Yeshua, the Savior, the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.
Heaven still answered.
Deliverance still came.
Demons still bowed.
Because it was never about pronunciation —it was always about power.”
In these 12 days, we are unlocking the identity of Jesus from:
Before time — “In the beginning was the Word.”
Before David — the Root.
After David — the Offspring.
The Messiah in the manger — the promise fulfilled.
The Lamb at Passover — salvation revealed.
The Living Word — dwelling among us.
Emmanuel — God with us.
The Christ in Revelation — returning with a robe dipped in blood.
We honor the Jesus who was the Light before light existed…
the Word before words were written…
the King before kings were crowned…
the Lamb before sacrifices were offered…
the Lion who returns in glory.
This 12 Day Journey is not about language —
it is about revelation.
Not about the carnal mind —
but the Spirit of Truth.
Not about arguments —
but awakening.
We are unlocking the Identity of Jesus Christ.
The Jesus who saves.
Yeshua who reigns.
One Lord.
One Faith.
One Baptism.
✨ How many years since Jesus’ first coming,
Historians and tradition place Jesus’ birth roughly in the range 6 BC to 1 BC/AD 1, and his public ministry/crucifixion around AD 27–33. Because the exact year isn’t certain, I’ll give a couple of common reference calculations using the current year 2025.
If Jesus was born about 4 BC (a common scholarly estimate):
Years since birth = 2025 + 4
Calculation (digit-by-digit): 2025 + 4 = 2029.
→ About 2,029 years since his birth.
If you count from the commonly given crucifixion year AD 30 (marking the end of his earthly ministry):
Years since crucifixion = 2025 − 30
Calculation: 2025 − 30 = 1995.
→ About 1,995 years since the crucifixion.
If you prefer a simpler round number often used in preaching — "about 2,000 years" — that’s accurate to the scale of these estimates.
(So depending on which event you measure from — birth or the end of his earthly ministry — you’ll get roughly ~1,995 to ~2,029 years.)
⭐From the Manger to the Star
1. Jesus Was Born in the Manger

✨ THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST,
Let’s break this down step by step with the Scriptures:
1. Before Jesus was conceived
In Luke 1:30–31, the angel Gabriel came to Mary:
“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.”
Here the angel gave the name JESUS before He was even conceived in the womb.
2. At His circumcision
In Luke 2:21, after Jesus was born and on the eighth day when He was circumcised, the Scripture says:
“And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.”
This confirms that the name was already chosen and spoken by the angel Gabriel before conception, and then it was officially given to Him when the law of circumcision was fulfilled on the eighth day.
✅ So yes — the name JESUS was revealed before conception, spoken by the angel Gabriel. Then it was confirmed at His birth and formally given at circumcision (Luke 2:21).
Here is the correct Biblical timeline of Jesus’ birth, the manger, the star, and the wise men — because many people mix these together.
A. The Humble Arrival of the King
Jesus, the eternal Word, the Son of God, entered the world not in a palace, but in a place where animals were kept.
“And she brought forth her firstborn son… and laid Him in a manger.” (Luke 2:7)
This manger tells us:
He came down to our level
He came approachable
He came accessible to the lowly, broken, and forgotten
When Jesus was born:
He was laid in a manger (a feeding trough)
Only Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds were there
Angels appeared to shepherds, not wise men
This is found in Luke 2:7–20
The manger scene = Shepherds, not Wise Men.
B. The Manger Was Prophetic
Prophecy said the Messiah would come lowly, yet carry the government on His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6).
The manger fulfills:
His humility → Fully man
His divinity → Born of the Holy Spirit
His identity was wrapped in simplicity but filled with glory.
C. The First to Meet Him Were Shepherds
Not kings
Not priests
Not scholars
Shepherds
Why?
Because God reveals Himself first to those with:
Open hearts
Quiet spirits
Honest intentions
This is a message to the broken, the overlooked, and the unliked but chosen.
D. Heaven Broke Open at His Birth
Angels appeared saying:
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.” (Luke 2:14)
Heaven announced Him, even when earth did not understand Him.
E. The Manger Was the First Sign
The angel told the shepherds:
“This shall be a sign unto you…” (Luke 2:12)
What was the sign?
A baby in a manger — God in a place He shouldn’t fit.
Divinity inside humanity.
Glory wrapped in cloth.
It’s the picture of redemption.
⭐ 2. The Star Appeared When Jesus Was Born — But It Led the Wise Men Later
The star appeared the night Jesus was born (Matthew 2:2),
BUT the wise men followed that star over a long distance.
They did not arrive at the manger.
⭐3. The Wise Men (Magi) Arrived When Jesus Was a TODDLER
Matthew 2 says:
The wise men came to a house, not a manger
Jesus is called a young child, not a baby
Herod killed all boys 2 years old and under (Matthew 2:16)
This means: The wisemen arrived 1–2 years after Jesus’ birth.
So the manger came first…The star guided the magi afterward.
⭐ 4. How Many Wise Men?
The Bible does not say “three.”
It only says they brought three gifts:
Gold
Frankincense
Myrrh
There may have been:
Dozens of men
Camels
Guards
Servants
It was a royal caravan.
⭐ 5. What Was the Star?
The star was a supernatural sign from God.
Matthew 2:9 says:
“The star went before them and STOOD over where the child was.”
A normal star cannot move and stand still.
This was a divine light guiding them to the King.
⭐ SUMMARY
Here is the real order:
1. Jesus is born in Bethlehem
→ Laid in a manger (Luke 2)
2. Angels appear to shepherds
→ They visit the manger
3. A star appears in the East
→ Wise men begin a long journey
4. Wise men arrive 1–2 years later
→ They visit Jesus in a house
→ They give gifts
→ They worship the young child
Let me say this again, during this 12-day Kingdom teaching, we will honor THAT
Jesus — the Jesus that was once delivered unto the saints.
Not a cultural Jesus.
Not a linguistic Jesus.
Not a debated Jesus.
But the Revealed Jesus.
Because the Bible shows that His identity stretches:
Before the beginning — the Word that already was
During the beginning — the Word that created all things
Born of a virgin — Emmanuel, God with us
Crucified and risen — the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world
Ascended — seated at the right hand of God
Returning — the Word coming back, His robe dipped in blood
This is the Jesus we are revealing —The Jesus who does not shift with language. The Jesus who does not lose His power through translation.
The Jesus who is just as mighty in English, as in Hebrew, as in heaven itself.
And throughout this journey we will confront:
Carnal vs. Spiritual understanding
Some know His name but not His nature.
Some know the letters but not the life.
Some debate pronunciation, yet have never met the Power behind the name.
But the Holy Spirit is about to open our eyes.
This is your moment.
This is your classroom in the Spirit.
This is your invitation to unlock the identity of Jesus Christ — from Genesis to Revelation.
