① “A Child Is Born” — Isaiah 9:6

“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder…”(Isaiah 9:6)

 Kingdom Breakdown

This verse intentionally separates two realities of Jesus:

 “A child is born”

• This speaks to His humanity

• Jesus enters the world legally through birth

• He comes through a woman, into time, into flesh

• This fulfills earthly law and prophecy

➡️ He arrives like us.

 “A son is given”

• This speaks to His divinity

• The Son already existed before birth

• He was not created at birth — He was sent

• Heaven releases what already belongs to God

➡️ He existed before us.

 

Kingdom truth:

Jesus was born human, but given divine.

“The government shall be upon His shoulder”

• Government = rule, authority, dominion

• Not political — Kingdom authority

• His shoulders carry the weight Adam dropped

• He restores divine order

Immanuel = God with us

“The people which sat in darkness saw great light;and to them which sat in the region and shadow of deathlight is sprung up.”(Matthew 4:16)

This is not a random moment in Jesus’ life.

This is the activation of a prophecy spoken over 500 years earlier.

Matthew 4:16 is quoting Isaiah 9:1–2, written around 700 BC—long before:

• Mary

• Joseph

• Bethlehem

• Nazareth

• Rome’s rule

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light…”

Key revelation:

Jesus did not walk into purpose — He walked into prophecy.

He was born into a calling already waiting on Him.

False Light vs. True Light

✨Anchor Scripture — Matthew 4:15

“The land of Zebulun, and the land of Naphtali, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles.”

This verse looks geographical — but it is spiritual strategy.

✨KINGDOM UNLOCK: WHY MATTHEW 4:15 MATTERS

Zebulun and Naphtali were:

• Mixed with Gentiles

• Considered spiritually compromised

• Looked down on by religious elites

• Labeled dark regions

Darkness was not absence of religion — it was absence of truth.

There was activity, but not clarity.

Sound familiar?

 

Connecting John 10:1 — “Another Way”

Jesus warned:

“He that entereth not by the door… is a thief.”

This is the contrast:

• False light enters by another way

• True Light enters through prophecy, order, and obedience

Jesus did not appear as a self-appointed teacher.

He arrived:

• Through prophecy (Isaiah 9)

• Through lineage (David)

• Through location (Galilee)

• Through timing (500 years later)

He came through the Door — not through ambition.

✨ FALSE LIGHT vs TRUE LIGHT (KINGDOM COMPARISON)

• Looks spiritual but lacks authority

• Shines briefly, then fades

• Draws attention to self

• Offers influence without transformation

• Enters without permission

• “Climbs in another way” (John 10:1)

✅ True Light (Jesus)

• Comes through God’s order

• Illuminates without manipulating

• Exposes darkness without condemning

• Heals, restores, redeems

• Enters exactly where prophecy said He would

• “The people who sat in darkness saw a great Light” (Matt. 4:16)

Darkness recognized Him — religion often didn’t.

✨500 YEARS IN THE MAKING — WHY THIS MATTERS

Jesus stepping into Galilee wasn’t convenience — it was confirmation.

God was saying:

“What I promised generations ago is now standing among you.”

True light does not rush — it arrives on time.

Speak this aloud:

“I will not follow false light.

I recognize the true Light.

What God sent for me will come through the Door.

I will not be deceived by shortcuts, shadows, or substitutes.

I choose what Heaven has authorized.”

Father God,

Thank You for sending the True Light into dark places.

Open my eyes to discern what is sent by You and what is counterfeit.

Let me not be impressed by brightness without truth,

or movement without authority.

I choose the Light that came through obedience,

the Light spoken of before time,

the Light that still shines today.
